We provide a wide range of professional services to meet your needs. We promise to provide every service with a smile, and to your highest level of satisfaction.
COMPREHENSIVE EYE EXAMS: We recommend a comprehensive eye exam each year for all patients after one year old. Our exams begin with pretesting by our technicians to get you prepped and ready for the doctor, who will work to create the best glasses prescription for your visual needs. The health of the front and back of your eyes is then thoroughly evaluated to check for any ocular diseases or conditions that need to be monitored or treated. We will be sure you leave your exam knowing everything you need to know about your eyes and how to take care of them.
EMERGENCY EYE CARE: Did you know your optometrist can help you with red eyes, pink eye, or sore eyes, foreign body removal and eye emergencies?
CONTACT LENS EVALUATIONS: Contact lens prescriptions and examinations are different from what we do for glasses. Contacts require more measurements to make sure the fit is accurate, not too tight, not too loose, and is the best for your vision. Therefore, this is considered a separate evaluation, but it can be performed at the same time as your comprehensive eye exam. If you have never worn contacts before, we will also make sure you know all the ins and outs of contact lens care before you leave our office.
LASIK, LASEK AND PRK Co-Management:
Although we do not perform surgeries, we will walk you through any refractive surgery. We have fantastic ophthalmologists that we work with who will perform the surgery itself for you, but your pre operative and post operative care will take place at our office. We will make sure you are set up for a successful outcome and heal nicely to have the best vision after surgery.
GLAUCOMA EVALUATION AND TREATMENT: When detected and treated at an early stage, glaucoma can be controlled. For most people, eye drops are the primary treatment. However, laser surgery and surgery in the operating room are sometimes necessary to help prevent further damage. In some cases, oral medications may be prescribed.
CATARACT CO-MANAGEMENT: Cataracts will cause a hazing or clouding to your vision typically around your 60s. We will help you along the way to prolong any treatment as we see them developing. However, once treatment is determined to be the next step, we will guide you through the process. We will refer you to experienced ophthalmologists who will perform your surgery, but we will help you for any post surgical glasses needs.
DRY EYE AND ALLERGIES: If your eyes are constantly dry, watery, itchy, or irritated, we may need to take a closer look in order to help them feel at their best. We can see you for what we call a dry eye workup, which is simply additional testing focused on the lubricating system of your eyes. After evaluating these tests, we can determine what treatment would be best for your situation.
ANNUAL DIABETIC EYE EXAMS:
